Village Hall Update

Those of you strolling along Old Forge Lane during the last week or so will have seen that the repairs/improvements to the village hall are now well underway! Although there have been one or two unforeseen problems, work is mainly progressing on schedule.

It is hoped to have the hall in a useable (but not finished) condition so that parishioners and their guests who wish to come and watch the final day of the Six Nations Rugby on 17^th March can do so – watch this space (and the village website) for further information.

The first village hall event after the work is completed will be a Bar ‘n’ Brunch on Sunday, 1^st April – full details on the forthcoming flyer.

Christmas Tree Recycling

The parish council has arranged for a collection of real Christmas trees on Monday (9^th), so if you wish to have yours recycled please bring it to one of the following two collection points over the weekend:

Preston Capes – grassed area adjacent to the village hall

Little Preston – grass verge opposite village noticeboard
