FLOWERS, Miriam [1878 - 1961]

The daughter of George and Maria FLOWERS (née RAYSON), Miriam was born on 21 Nov 1878 and baptised at the parish church on 23 Mar 1879. She attended the village school between 28 Sep 1885 and 25 Aug 1892. Between the Wars, Miriam moved to The Smythy in Preston Capes with her mother and after her mother's death in 1937, returned to Home Farm to live with her brother, George. Miriam died at Daventry Hospital on 16 Jan 1961 at the age of 83 and was buried in the churchyard at Preston Capes on 20 Jan.
