FLOWERS, Stephen [1836 - 1881>; <1891 - 1891>]

The son of John and Elizabeth FLOWERS (née MURCOTT), Stephen was born in 1829/30 at Chesterton, Oxon and was baptised there on 22 May 1831. He moved with the family to the parish and assisted his father and brother in running the farm. During the 1880s, Stephen moved to Daventry where he became a publican, but he returned to the parish after his brother's death to help his sister-in-law continue with the farm.
