Born in 1740/41, William was already farming when he married Jane LEA by licence at the parish church on 6 Oct 1765. He died on 4 Mar 1811 at the age of 70 and was buried in the churchyard on 13 Mar.

In his will, made on 1 Jul 1809 with codicil on 16 Nov, William made the following bequests:
- his house and 16 acres of land at Padbury, Bucks to his son William, on condition that William pay £10 per year to his brother James
- 5 acres of land at Padbury and all his collegehold lands to his son Thomas, on condition that Thomas pay £5 per year to his brother James
- that after the death of James, Thomas pay the sum of £100 to each to his sisters Ann DENCHFIELD, Jane HORN, Catherine MARRIOTT, Elizabeth FLOWERS and Mary READ
- 5 acres of land at Padbury and his house at Stony Stratford, Bucks to his son John, on condition that John pay £5 per year to his brother James
- £30 per year to his son James from the income of his collegehold lands at Padbury to be paid after the death of his wife
- all his farming equipment and crop at Canons Ashby and his two houses and orchard at Moreton Pinkney to his son Edward, on condition that Edward pay £10 per year to the trustees until the death of his brother John
- all his farming equipment, crop and household possessions at Little Preston, except those in his bedroom and kitchen and the Bush Ground at Canons Ashby to his son John and daughter Elizabeth
- if John wants the stock at Little Preston and the Bush Ground at Canons Ashby then he is to pay his sister Elizabeth the sum of £400
- £100 to his son William
- £400 to his daughters Jane HORN, Catherine MARRIOTT and Mary READ
- that his sons William and John and his son-in-law Thomas HORN be joint trustees and executors of his estate
