This Sunday at Preston Capes church: Matins at 9.30am.
GARDENERS' COFFEE MORNING
This event held last week at Little Preston raised over £700 for church funds.
OPEN GARDENS
In aid of the National Gardens Scheme, five village gardens will be open this Sunday, 6th June, from noon to 5.00pm. To raise funds for the church, light lunches and teas will be served at Old West Farm, Little Preston, and several of the gardens will have plants for sale. Parking is available at Old West Farm and Manor Farm at the bottom of Preston Capes High Street. There is also very limited disabled parking at the top of Old Forge Lane for those visiting West Orchard Farmhouse.
ANNUAL VILLAGE MEETING
Owing to an earlier-than-usual copy date because of the bank holiday, the report on our annual village meeting will be included in next week's column.
