VILLAGE HALL EVENTS

After last weekend's very successful quiz night (which raised over £130 for village hall funds), please make a note in your diaries of the village hall committee's final event of the year – the Christmas Party on Saturday, 11th December. Starting in the late afternoon with a children's tea and entertainment (plus a visit from Father Christmas!), this will be followed by an “evolving” disco for children, teenagers and adults (including refreshments). More details next month.

Unfortunately, due to alternative commitments of committee members, the village hall will not be open on New Year's Eve this year. (The venue is, of course, available for private hire on that date if any villager wishes to arrange their own event.)
