CHURCH SERVICES
This Sunday at Preston Capes church: Holy Communion at 8.00am.
PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL
A meeting of Preston Capes PCC will be held at the village hall on Monday (24th), starting at 8.00pm.
CHEESE AND WINE PARTY
A reminder that the PCC's annual cheese and wine party will be held next Friday (28th) in the village hall - buy your tickets from Bernard and Penelope Rapson (telephone 01327-361380).
UNITED BENEFICE SERVICE
On the last Sunday of the month (30th), a united benefice service of Holy Communion will be held at Preston Capes church at 9.30am.
VILLAGE HALL EVENTS 2005
The first village hall event of the year will be a pub night on 26th February (more details in a few weeks). This will be followed by a barn dance around end April/early May, with the annual village cook out in mid August. The village hall's "autumn" event (still to be definitely decided) will take place on 29th October.
Definite dates for the barn dance and cook out are dependent on availability of band, and will be confirmed as soon as possible - watch this column, and the village hall noticeboard!
The village hall committee are currently considering a change of format for the Christmas and New Year, and full details will be available early next month.
