CHURCH SERVICES
This Sunday at Preston Capes church: Family Service for Mothering Sunday, starting at 9.30am. Children will be making posies during the service (all necessary flowers provided). After the service (maximum 45 minutes) there will be refreshments.
MOBILE LIBRARY
The mobile library will be visiting Little Preston next Tuesday, from 2.00pm.
VILLAGE FETE
A preliminary planning meeting for this year’s fete will be held in the village hall on Wednesday, 5th April, from 8.00pm. If you would like to be involved in this event, please come along and give your support. Newcomers to the village will be particularly welcome – there is always plenty of work to go around!
W.I. COFFEE MORNING AND CAKE SALE
Preston Capes WI will be holding another of their very popular coffee mornings in the village hall this Saturday (25th March) from 10.30am to noon. Come along and buy a delicious cake for Mothering Sunday, have a rummage on the bric-a-brac stall, and enjoy your morning coffee with friends and neighbours.
CHURCH CHOIR CONCERT
Just briefly to let you know that the church choir will be holding a concert on Sunday, 23rd April, followed by optional buffet supper in the village hall. Please make a note in your diaries of this fund-raising event for the church – more details in a week or so.
