The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council will be taking place on Tuesday 16th May.  The agenda for the meeting is here and the draft minutes from the last meeting are here.  The Annual Meeting is the one where the appointment of the Chairman and Vice-Chair is carried out as well as some of the formal annual governance requirements.  It then continues as a ‘normal’ Parish Council meeting.

This meeting is not to be confused with the Annual Village Meeting which will be taking place on Thursday 18th May.  The agenda for this meeting is here.  This is the annual update to residents from Parish, District and County Councils as well as village organisations.  The format of this meeting was altered last year to become somewhat less formal in a bid to attract more attendees.  Once a formal welcome has been made by Dixie Hughes (Chairman to the Parish Council), the everyone will have the chance to circulate amongst the community groups etc to discuss matters which they feel appropriate.  The bar will be open for the evening too.

The Annual Village Meeting will be taking place on Thursday 18th May 2017, starting at 7.45pm in the village hall.  Do come along and have a chat with representatives of Parish Council, District Council and County Council as well as representatives of community organisations from the parish.  The notice for the meeting can be found here.
