James
1776/77 - <1812
Born at Preston Capes in 1776/77, James became a farm labourer and left the parish for Wappenham. He married Susannah about 1811 and they returned to Preston Capes on a Settlement Order from the Overseers of the Poor for Wappenham, dated 27 Jan 1812. James died at the age of 79 and was buried in the churchyard on 11 Nov 1855.
