To mark the centenary of Merchant Navy Day this year, the Parish Council has arranged for the raising of the red ensign on Sunday 3rd September 2017. Chris Heaton-Harris MP will say a few words and then everyone will retire to the village hall where the bar will be open.
Everyone is invited to attend by congregating just inside the churchyard gates at around 10.50am, in readiness for the raising of the ensign at 11.00am.
