Reminder for upcoming Litter Pick

The annual spring clean of Preston Capes and Little Preston will be taking place on
Sunday 12th March.
Starting in the Village Hall at 9.45am with Bacon Butties, you will then be asked to walk out for 1 hour on one side of the road and back again on the other side, picking up all litter on the way, with a view to finishing back at the Village Hall around 12.00 where a thank you drink will also be provided.
All protective clothing and equipment will be supplied and the full bags of rubbish can be left beside the road for the support vehicle to collect.
No experience necessary, full training will be provided.

Next meeting of Preston Capes Parish Council

Fly-tipping

At last night’s meeting of Preston Capes Parish Council, a number of reports were received about recent incidents of fly-tipping in the local area.  Such incidents are dealt with by Daventry District Council.

Reports can be made in either of the following ways:

by telephone on 01327 871100; or

online on https://selfserve.daventrydc.gov.uk/forms/flytipping.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

Look out for further details of the Spring Litter Pick which will be taking place on Sunday 19th March 2017.  They will be published early in 2017.

The Parish Council thanks everyone for their support in keeping the local area tidy.
